INNOTRANS aims to produce four main works concerning the job of driver, the commercial function,
and the traffic planning function
in the road haulage sector:

• A framework of competencies liable to be common to all the member States of the European Union,
• A guide describing different innovative training cases enabling lessons to be learnt and further development to be encouraged,
• A database describing the training offer in all the member States related to the framework of competencies,
• An inventory of official reference documents (collective agreements, job profiles...) by country, and country reports based on the study of these documents.
